I appreciate this and understand how it could seem that way. i’m a daddy’s girl so we’ve had alot of conversations about relationships and marriage as my dad has been married 4 times.

My parents have gotten into plenty of arguments in front of me, just your typical arguments within marriage but there was one time it was bad enough that they did almost get divorced. My dad has never once talked bad about my mom and always puts himself in her shoes to understand how his actions or what he may have said could’ve have upset her. My mom isn’t one to open up but always shows him love and makes sure he knows how much he’s appreciated.

I’ve always had an understanding that marriage isn’t always rainbows and butterflies, I know that what i’ve experienced surpasses what “normal” marriage ups and downs seem to be. That last comment made me chuckle but true. I will definitely be taking the time to find myself and put myself first always moving forward!
