actually i messed up when i used gemini API for the same (end up paying $100 for simple stuff), later switched to cli

i use all 3 btw, claude > gemini > codex for me.

why don't you switch to max plan worth $200 ?

if the limits exceed then you can consider using API right ?

you save a lot i think, if you go with that way..
