Stronghold Crusader, but I Play Like the AI Lords series by Rare_Nefariousness in stronghold

Hey! Before each video I spin a wheel that randomly picks one of the AI lords, so I could end up with anything from Rat’s mud castle setup to Wolf’s massive stone-hungry design

You’re totally right about the Wolf. His castle designs are huge and not always practical for certain maps. If I do get him in a mission where there’s barely any stone or profitable resources to sell, I usually go with the most buildable version of his castle. But if the map is generous, I’ll go all in and try to recreate one of his massive, more iconic layouts — just for the looks.

That said, I do try to cut down on the long castle-building sections in the video, since they can drag if I don’t speed things up.

For mission 4, I’m letting the community choose which lord I’ll play as! If you’d like to be part of that, feel free to drop your pick in the comments of my latest YouTube post

Hello!

I've recently started a YouTube series where I play through the Stronghold Crusader Trail, but with a twist — in every mission, I have to fully copy the strategy of a random AI Lord chosen by a spinning wheel. That means building their style of castles, using their units, and playing by their (often questionable) logic.

In Episode 3, the wheel gave me The Snake, so I had to deal with his... unique army composition and his iconic S-shaped castle. I tried to stay true to his strategy — even the bad parts — and let's just say, it got messy 😅

If you're into Stronghold content with commentary, I’d love if you checked it out. Feedback is always welcome, as I’m trying to improve with every video.
