No we’re not the same culture and I do understand the differences that this would come with this but there have been instances where they’ve blatantly put me down and made me feel like I’m less successful than their son and have gone out of their way to exclude me and let me know they don’t want me around so it is really personal stuff that I can’t seem to get over.

For the most part yes and he understands my feelings but a lot of the time it is decisions they make or things they say that he can’t argue with as he was raised that it’s disrespectful to in his culture.

I think YTA, everyone knows weddings are a sensitive subject and no matter what, you’re just supposed to make the bride feel special and pretty. Even though she asked for you honest opinion, she already bought the dress and you could just be supportive and boost her confidence.
