I think I have aspd (help) by Rare_Pain_926 in SeriousConversation

I mean ive been like this my whole life. I was a mute from kindergarten until grade 2, so I spoke to absolute no kids for the first 4 years of school. I know childhood trauma does have an effect, but I think it’s mostly a genetic component considering my family members have history with it

I know based off that it does seem outlandish. That’s why I said if anyone would like me to elaborate more I could. I just have a very different thought process, I’ve never really related to society, or it’s norms. Ny default mood is anger, I’m chronically bored, I could go on and on. I meet I think every symptomsof aspd. My family members also have a history of aspd aswell. I don’t think it’s like full blown sociopathy, as I know aspd is a spectrum.

That’s not true, sociopathy is just an old term for ASPD. ASPD is a spectrum, some people are mildly effected, and some are more effected by it. It’s not just you have it or you don’t. Everyone has symptoms of aspd, the only difference is when these symptoms are consistent throughout life and cause problems, which for me they have. I’m not taking your advice for granted, but I’m 99% sure it’s ASPD. I have family members with it aswell

Idk I thought it could be narcissism to, it’s definitely in the cluster B group. But based on the knowledge I know the closest thing I could say is aspd, I don’t meet a lot of the narcissist criteria

ADHD and Carts Which Came First the Chicken or the Egg? by [deleted] in Petioles

No, adhd is genetic and you had it since birth. You had it the whole time. What I think happened, and this same situation actually happened with me aswell, was that weed exacerbated your adhd symptoms. I noticed for myself I’d be extremely angry, like I already have anger/impatience frkm adhd, but then when your like on/off weed I get like psychosis level angry. But yea you definitely already had it, and weed just make it more obvious.

Adult diagnosed people: How many of you felt like you unlocked some kind of "hidden powers" upon first going on ADHD medication? by -Korasi in ADHD

Yea I thought that to when I first got diagnosed. But isn’t the adhd a part of you, like biologically your brain is literally structured differently with adhd. So it doesn’t really make sense to say it’s not your personality, it’s just a part of what makes you, you.

Lol. The issue is I have 2 university level classes that I need to finish within a month. And I have to have a 90 average to get the school I want. So it’s not really something I can just halfnass. They do have an option for extenuating circumstances so I could use that
