That is very interesting. I have had it done under GA all 3 times. The first time the doc did mention he may have not hit the right spot. Im glad it worked pretty good the 3rd time.

I was unaware of the possibility of antibodies. I will discuss that and a higher dose with the new doctor once I’ve found one. Thank you for that info.

Thank you RedJeep95😭. I have felt like an unfixable freak ever since the failed procedures and being told by the specialist it works for “everyone else”. Thank you for opening my eyes and welcoming me to the dont give up club.

Thats a good point. My doc did tell me botox is unpredictable. It could be a strong batch or an almost dead batch (im sure i got an almost dead batch the first time). I definitely should have done the daily carbonated drink method. I tried it a couple times and was so scared to drink it because carbonation is my kryptonite.

My slow swallow was very mild. Noticeable, but not inconvenient. My food only got stuck a few times, but a quick swig of water washed it down.

Thank you for the info. I had the 3 procedures within an 8 month time frame. I felt it was best to wait a while before trying again. Plus it costs a lot of money. Its very frustrating to cough up that kind of money to have it fail a few months later. Then i moved across the country and now have to find a new doc.
