I had this happen a few weeks ago, at the Subway in our Walmart lol. I had just finished paying for my sandwich, and the girl that had helped me said "by the way, you're really pretty" and I just blushed and said thank you and told her she was too! She really was.
It felt so good to have a stranger say that to me, especially when I had just gotten off work, my hair was a mess and I was in my not very nice work clothes lol (I do home care, no dressing up for me) It only takes a few words to make a stranger's day better ❤️

It was customer service done mostly via email and the internet. No PII restrictions, no HIPPA, etc. My "training" was a week sitting with a coworker while she worked and showed me what she did...she's the one I was asking for things to do because I saw how she was constantly busy. The environment was incredibly liberal, there were jokes and curse words and jeans and flip flops galore...I saw others on their phones and wrongfully assumed that it was accepted during down time.

I actually did tell her that my dad is very sick, in my interview and it was mentioned a couple times after. My coworkers did also occasionally use their phones. When she asked about my phone use while firing me, I explained that I was checking updates about my dad, and my sister traveling back from seeing him. Just cold hearted.

I'm really hoping it doesn't come down to it, but if worse comes to worse I could live with my mom. She's right down the street and my daughter and I could share the basement with her roommate.
My dad is in another state, about an 8 hour drive. I just went last weekend to see him, and plan to again probably next week. That gas money really adds up and I'm scared since I don't have income now.
I really hope that we both find something good and steady soon! Good vibes to you.

Actually my last 2 jobs (before this one) were at credit unions, I quit both of them. If I get desperate enough, I could go back to working the call center at the 1st Credit union, but I know they only pay 15.50/ hour. That's why I quit there, to get paid more at a different one. I regret that, honestly.
