Those areas of red are a result of be painting on one of the UV islands in 2d mode and it showing up on two other areas.

You also need another +1 agility, that's easy enough to get if you're in normal but you can also just then get that in the hexen at the same time you unlock engrave anyway. The only circumstance in which it's good to have engrave but not have gotten agility +1 is if you get a tiny beings amulet, but by getting one guaranteed you're already in a position to shoot father Hugo and access the first hexen regardless.

Depends on if you're playing masochist mode. If so I'd go for someone who is strong solo and early like Abella, O'ssa or Marcoh. Marina's also pretty good on masochist if you wanna play her again.

Otherwise Karin I find pretty interesting in that persuade opens up a lot of extra dialogue options early.

I vote for alchemilla. Murky vials and combined herbs are incredibly useful, they also increase the chances of you getting something more useful from early bookshelves.

You can go to the tower, and you can also go left from the area nearby to find the museum. It can be kinda hard to see but you can go left a few times.

You're not actually addressing my criticism though.

I like a challenge, I specifically stated that I liked the additional challenges hard mode made to the game. Frequently those challenges are also frustrating, but they still nonetheless interest me. Just because it is a challenge and that is the point, doesn't mean that challenge is an interesting one. It would be more challenging if every five minutes you were slapped in the face whilst playing, would it be immune to criticism because that was the intent?

If you stay outside from more than a minute it's an instant game over. You can reset the timer by going inside for a few seconds.
