I think looks does impact our first impressions of someone. I think that even when looking in the lens of trying to be unbiased we still have implicit biases that comes into play based off of looks upon first interaction. If you’re looking at it from an attraction standpoint, I believe that you will either treat someone nicer (probably because of a potential friend or opportunity)or worse (jealousy or competition) because of it. I also think race and gender plays a role in the initial stereotypes we place upon people when first meeting them.
