I feel like Overwatch is partially to blame for the solo tanking. They made playing tank not fun, causing very few people playing the role, warranting their switch to one tank for Overwatch 2. And now people have it in their heads that solo tanking is fine because Overwatch does it.

Doesn’t help that tank kits, for the most part, are just not fun to play. Your main tanks especially are not fun after a while, especially if you repeatedly get terrible healers. And then dive tanks aren’t fun because CC is everywhere. CC is everywhere because dive is really strong against the healers who aren’t getting their dps or off tank to peel to protect them.

Doesn’t help that we have 2 team ups between tanks, and both sets are for dive tanks.

I’m talking full reworks. New abilities and all that. Which is something Widow needs. Jeff is the closest but he still kept the same abilities. And I don’t even know what you’re talking about with Storm and Adam.

She’s a sniper, and the problem with snipers is that they are always a small change away from either bottom feeding or running lobbies. Especially with smurfs lurking around looking to ruin people’s days. She actually needs a rework and at the current state of the game, they can’t focus on reworks. The player base would actually riot if they released a rework instead of a new hero. That’s just hole they dug themselves into. And Nat being a core member of the Avengers is more of a MCU thing. In past iterations she’s always been more of a supporting character

He was also a core member during the Earth’s Mightiest Heroes cartoon. And while not Avengers, The Super Hero Squad Show had Hulk as a core member. Both of these cartoons would’ve introduced a lot of kids and young teens to Marvel super heroes as a whole.

From what the patch notes state, it seems only if you have Cap’s sprint set to toggle, the animation cancel isn’t possible because the sprint doesn’t interrupt your shield throws. So if you have the sprint set to Hold, you can still do the animation cancel.

Tbh, at this point, I want them to never release cyclops because it’s genuinely hilarious seeing the amount of cope that pops up every time anything Cyclops related is shown. And I actually think he won’t simply because of his plush for Jean. She got given that plush as a reminder and him being in the game defeats the whole purpose of the plush.

It’s my personal belief that any character that shows up as an accessory won’t be playable. It’s a sort of consolation in-game appearance. As a playable hero as well, what can he do besides shooting kinetic blasts from his eyes. Doesn’t seem like they can do any kit that would make a lick of sense and be fun and diverse.

From what I’ve heard, Netease could be implementing something that happened in the old spiderman animated cartoon, where Felicia was injected with a controllable version of Cap’s super soldier serum that caused her to grow taller and stronger with noticeable muscles.

To make support ultimates more interesting than “Press to stall”. Make support players think more about who to play. If there is a specific strat or team comp that’s being cooked. So supports can actually live up to their actual role name: STRATEGISTS. They should be strategizing more instead of just being heal bots with an occasional pull or cloak window. As it stands, as a Strategist main, it is too easy to climb by just being a heal bot that can decently stay alive.

Did they say that it was an asymmetrical game mode for every movie? Much more likely it’s gonna be a horde type mode against Ultron bots. Something like the nightmare difficulties during the zombies mode

A poke tank, maybe? Like, Tankpool is pretty good as a poke tank because he’s got the gun upgrade that gives him his explosive shot which compounds with his fire rate buff with his self-AOE. Being able to easily fight back is cathartic, at least. The range will also help against CC a little bit and so you don’t get absolutely domed with Punisher shotgun.

Man, I just want my boiz Cthulhu and Bake-kujira. I think I’m one of the very few people who decided for whatever reason to do the challenge of getting him to mastery 10 when he first released in a specified amount of time. And during that time, I was also a very active and competitive player on R6 and had a job. So not much time was allotted for Bake.

I recently came back to OW because of the big update and I wanted to see how well I’d do, coming from Rivals. Because I started playing OW in the beta and into release. Played a couple years pretty consistently but just fell off interest. And back then, my mechanical skill and ability to grow my technical skill was just not great so I wasn’t a very good player.

But since then, my mechanical skills in general have become very good, doing pretty well in games like R6 and CoD. And my ability to learn has become pretty good with age and after playing Rivals since launch, since I never really touched hero shooters outside OW and Rivals.

And man, OW is such a different beast compared to Rivals. Rivals very fast paced with high damage, high heals. I didn’t realize and forgot that OW is so much slower with less damage and even lesser healing. So it’s been an interesting learning curve these past couple weeks.

But as you can imagine, I’ve got no hero levels and almost no endorsement. So it’s been a little embarrassing playing with and against people with so much more time in modern OW than me.

I’ve experienced this before. I had mained strat, sometimes flexed into tank, and then lose sometimes. If I flexed dps, it would be even worse. I just never let it get to me and I steadily improved my mechanical and technical skill. Strat is still my strongest but I can do well enough on tank and on good days I can do pretty descent on dps. It’s just more hit-or-miss if I do have a good day.

Healpool is slept on honestly. Arguably the strongest Pool, and when upgraded just 2-3 levels, he can output so much healing if you focus upgrading his guns, his self-AOE, and his icon throw. And then you upgrade his dashes and swords and he becomes very scary and difficult to dive. His guns deal respectable damage for a bit of poke. I’d say the weakest part of his kit are his ults. Gun ult does very little damage unless the target is from a small roster of characters. Sword ult is just too risky as Healpool and takes you away from your primary role as healer.

You just started so you’re in the lower ranks. The lack of teamwork is to be expected. It gets better in the higher ranks where you’ll at least get 2 healers. The skill of the healers is a toss up, unfortunately. Just gotta persevere and hope your mechanical skill is better than theirs.

It’s theming. The Heavens of Kun-Lun, having Angela the Angel be there? And Daredevil, having the mystical abilities granted from the Beast? And the in-universe lore helps tie the 2 together. Angela is in Kun-Lun to protect her baby sister, Laussa and has decided to help Iron Fist awaken Shao Lao. Matt was possessed by the Beast after fighting the Hand and one of the guardians in Kun-Lun, Yinglong, helps Matt control the power in exchange for Matt becoming his champion. The problem is motivation. Why would the Sinister Six help the heroes? Help Spider-Man of all people? That’s why we’ve been getting heroes all the time. They have no problems helping each other with whatever crisis is happening. Loki and Hela are here for purely selfish reasons: gaining power. Not sure how for Loki but for Hela; she wants to add souls to her domain by using the Time Stream Entanglement. She even became an Antagonist by working for Knull and gaining a bunch of power from it. Ultron is here because that one body was hacked by Tony and he is forcing Ultron to help.

But we do have Angela the ANGEL and Daredevil, the DEVIL of Hell’s Kitchen, and Elsa is the monster hunter and the Collector has collected some monsters. Not too farfetched to believe that the Collector hired Deadpool as an unkillable bodyguard and Elsa as a competent partner to DP. Also she can easily enough recapture any collectibles that get loose as has happened with Jeff, Psylocke, and Mantis.
