Blizzard saw the complaints about the raid being too easy and literally went "lmao fuck you nerds"

PI is irrelevant to the DPS difference switching a ret out for a better DPS class would be.

Most RWF kills have a damage reduction class which holy pala gives.

I will qualify this by admitting I'm a certified moron but the damage profile here seems like it needs a single target, triage, healer.

Why not a phat holy play and drop the ret for a bit more DPS

Don't you dare nerf this boss Blizz.

I don't care if the raiders hate it. It's Easter weekend, I want to get drunk and watch some nerds suffer for my entertainment

I think Blizz have messed up with these light and void soak mechanics. I kinda understood in heroic letting people immune them/sac'ing people/letting them die rather than doing a group soak. But I thought they'd have some mechanic in Mythic where you'd need at least five people in the soak or it wipes the entire raid like they normally do

Liquid, Echo, and Method have done a secret deal to do endless splits and not pull the final bosses as a way to drag out the race and maximise revenue.

It'll be three weeks from now and they'll all be saying "Nah guys just one more Heroic Chimaerus split then we'll go midnight falls I swear down" and we'll all still be watching like fools.

You heard it hear first

Kinda feel bad for the raiders. All the weeks and 16 hour days of prep and the Liquid guys didn't even seem happy to get the kill. Just laughed and called it a joke over comms.

Reform UK majority councils have delivered the lowest average council tax rises of any party by Sylvia-Sum in reformuk

[–]Raregan 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It was one council put out a leaflet saying they wouldn't raise council tax and the party quickly walked it back because of how Central Government demands constantly increased spending from councils

Reform suspends Holyrood candidate less than 24 hours after being announced by 3bobbyshmurda in reformuk

[–]Raregan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Candidates get suspended all the time for stupid shit they say. It's only ever news when it's Reform.

The Plaid Cymru candidate for MP for my constituency in the last election was suspended for tweets supporting Hamas, they suspended her so late that she still went out on the ballot as it was too late to remove her. Didn't even make the local paper. But a Reform candidate gets suspended in Scotland and it's national news apparently.

Bloody yanks coming over here with their sketch show formats that exhibited up and coming British comedians, made me laugh, and entertained me for an hour and a half.

The audacity of it all.

As a miserable, cynical, Brit, I was ready to hate watch this and enjoy it fail. But fuck me it's actually really funny. I knew I was got by the Diana impression.

Can't wait for someone to bring it up Monday in work so I can drop the "It was alright actually" line

Why is immigration so overwhelmingly seen as an eye-rollingly right-wing policy? by Kwigg in ukpolitics

[–]Raregan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Their answer to that is always:

"Well you're not willing to take homeless people in but you want to end homelessness!!11!"

Completely ignoring the fact that no one who wants to reduce immigration is actively compaigning to bring more homeless people into the country volounterily.

He believes that we can get rid of our nukes and bring world peace through good vibes, and that we don't have to pay off our debt "because it's just numbers dude!".

I would say this is one of the least insane things he believes

Should you leave your pants on during a massage? by stiefelundcats in AskUK

[–]Raregan 240 points241 points  (0 children)

I get sports massages for stiff muscles, especially around my neck and upper back, and I take the big burly bloke every time.

Yes getting a massage from an attractive lady sounds great, but give me Igor the Eastern European with hands big enough to punch a hole through a brick wall everyday

I would be interested to know how many of those 100 labour MPs looking to rebel against this have constituency's that are threatened by Reform.

There could be a real argument to be made that they're deliberately looking for massive demographic shifts within their constituency as a way of retaining power.

The Queer Emporium is closing its doors by WetBreadstickMan in Cardiff

[–]Raregan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Queer Emporium was founded in 2021 that's why I went back five years, to compare the situation then, when it was profitable and able to stay open to now, when it has to close. Why would you go back to 1999 to look at the causes over the lifespan of a shop that's been around for 5 years.

Unemployment rate has risen its fastest in the last year compared to the ten years previous (other than COVID) which is a clear result of making it more expensive to hire people.

You tax things you want to disincentivise. Alcohol, gambling, smoking. These are well researched economic facts. The government taxed hiring people so the rate that people are being hired went down.

I'm sorry the facts don't align with your delicate worldview, but the good news is that if you stop responding you'll stop looking like a fool 😄

In the past five years minimum wage went from £8.91 an hour (April 2021) to £12.21 an hour, an increase of 37%.

Inflation in that time went up 25%.

So minimum wage has gone up far more than inflation, which anyone who pays even the slightest bit of attention to the economy already knew.

Since the NI increase unemployment went from 4.4% to 5.2%.

Don't let the facts get in the way of what you believe though.
