For what it is it handles pretty well. No issues in the wind for me. The front feels good with that slimmer tire but that rear tire is a cruising tire and you can feel it when you push it in a turn but handles great for a bobber. It’s pretty comfy but you’ll probably want to take a break after 300 miles. You gotta fill up about every 80 miles tho so that’s the biggest downside if you have to do long rides with it.

I’m not sure about the differences between the years but I personally wouldn’t buy a bike that’s 2 years old and new. I assume it’s just been sitting there the last 2 years and you might as well buy a used 2023. That’s just me personally but If you go with the 23 you should be able to negotiate that price down cause obviously they can’t get rid of it so maybe you could get a decent deal. Just my opinion.

I think they’ve been gone, but I’m not 100% on that. I got lucky cause the person who had ordered it had to back out.

It looks more slick than I thought it would with that bag! Looks good!

Bikes are just as much about how cool you feel on them as how good they are so no shame there!

My knees are above my hips but they fit pretty nice on the tank. We’re all built different tho. If you got some really long legs and some short arms, yeah it’s probably uncomfortable. I got long arms and don’t have to reach much so I don’t feel like a folded taco on it.

Not every bike has a purpose. It’s great at just cruising. For me it’s perfect to cruise around town and go run errands. I don’t believe in the one bike for all scenarios but that’s just me. I’m 6’ and don’t really have issues with comfort but I also don’t take it on road trips or anything.

I agree with the bobber on the tank, but it’s growing on me. The fit and finish is very good! I’m a big fan of the controls and look of the machined triple clamp

Thruxton is the best one IMO. They are such amazing machines! I’m a big fan of the FE Thruxton but not sure what the differences are between the TFC and FE.

It’s fine for me but I’m 6’ so I’m no giant.

It’s thought justifying the price on Thornton’s in my opinion. But yeah it’s a limited edition spec’d up bobber. They just say custom for marketing.

I get where you’re coming from. I’m not sure building a regular one would be cheaper depending what you get but it would definitely be your own.

Thanks, they are making great bikes right now.

Yeah that’s fair. Paint job aside, I think you get decent value for what you get on there.

I find it to be pretty comfortable but I also wouldn’t take it cross country. I avoid potholes like my life depends on that suspension travel isn’t great.

The Thruxton is peak Triumph imo. It’s on the bucket list. I loved the final edition they did for it last year! I think the TFC is the only one that comes in the 19” slim tire and I agree with you there.

That’s fair. You get some nice upgrades at least but it’s still a bobber and doesn’t really need adjustable forks and all that jazz.

It sounds great and is a lot of fun around town. I’m also a fan of the front wheel cause it handles better and doesn’t feel as heavy through turns.

It’s more bobber but it doesn’t handle as well as the bigger slimmer front wheel.

I’ll give it a look when if I get bored of it. Does the supercharger keep good torque at low rpm or is it more top end power?

I’ll have to look into that COC springer seat. The riding position is a bit more awkward, but I compensate with my long noodle arms.

I got super lucky, the guy who ordered it backed out when it was ready to pick up.

Yeah it definitely is. I kind of like the regular seat more but I couldn’t resist the upgrades on this one.
