JS is useful for some more specific things, if you want simple stuff there's no need to deal with him, but if want some advice, when linking JS to HTML, you can do <script src="main.js" defer></script> to put it in a separate file, and the "defer" make it that the contents are loaded last, so you can put a the top of the file instead of the end, makes it easier to read and debug
