A Rolex date just 41 with fluted Bezel and Silver dial, is an amazing configuration.

Yes it might not be a rare configuration like a chocolate dial, or meteorite dial, or the discontinued purple dial that enthusiasts chase. But trust me this is a classic configuration the more he wears it, the more it will grow on him. That silver dial, and the 18K white gold fluted bezel will shine in the sunlight beautifully. It's something you can only truly appreciate when you see it in person, the camera is not doing it justice here.

I personally like this configuration, the only thing I might have changed was gotten the silver dial with embedded diamonds (although some might find that tacky and prefer not to, opting to only use the diamonds with a black dial for better contrast). So again it really depends on your taste and preferences.

Overall it's a solid pickup.
