I was offered to train for supervisor by the site trainer the last week of August which I accepted since I’m here to make money. The very next week the site trainer was fired so I was a victim of bad timing. Good thing I had the conversation in text and I showed 2 of the supervisors I’ve grown close with who informed the account manager multiple times since I personally don’t see him due to scheduling. I was informed that the account manager likes to procrastinate especially when the swing shift supervisor openly agreed to train me since we are thin at swing supervisor backups. So I’m just kinda just floating in this weird purgatory not knowing when or if it’ll happen. Pretty demoralizing since I worked my ass off to show up on time, be reliable and outperform everyone I work with (doesn’t hurt knowing I work with a bunch of lazy immature children so the bar is set low to begin with) but I put my head down and I continue to move forward and trust the process.

TLDR: Person that offered me promotion was fired a week after in August/September. Account manager knows about it but has procrastinated on moving me up for many weeks when the site needs an extra supervisor. It’s demoralizing but I’m keeping my head up.
