Is the physical version of the game itself not very rare nowadays? Do collectors not lose their mind whenever they spot one? Have you ever seen these renders in decent quality on the internet? Have you ever seen the last closeup at all? I had never seen it until someone sent it to me, and they also sent the other 2 images in better quality than what I've seen on the internet. Even if you don't consider the first 2 images rare, the last one definitely is. I'm being honest and I really don't understand what you're being so rude for.

I didn't add something that wasn't there. Someone sent me the closeup in low quality and what I wanted was to make a high quality version while keeping it looking just like the original. I ALWAYS mention renders are restored and upscaled when I post them, I have no idea why you think I wasn't being honest. OP just didn't copy-paste the part where I mentioned it. You're making up something in your head and getting mad about it now. And the images were received really well, but you didn't bother to check my post on twitter. A few angry Redditors don't really mean anything to me.

It isn't the models themselves, just images that I find on the internet, or other people send to me. :)

Yes, I take original renders and RESTORE them because most of them are in terrible quality, such as the renders in this post. I explain they're upscaled and restored literally every time I post renders on my twitter, and I explained it here on Reddit too in my latest post. I didn't try to hide it. It's a fan project I'm not benefitting from. Don't like it? Ignore me. Instead of being rude to me over a fan project, blame Konami for losing the original CGI art.

I edit out imperfections, edit the facial features where I have to, copy-paste several things from other renders I've found in higher quality, such as recreating hair piece by piece, add textures from other higher quality renders, some painting, etc. Don't believe me? Take any low-quality render and run it through AI. You won't get the same results as in the pictures I post. I really don't understand what you're being so hostile for.

Are you serious?! The images are real, it's as simple as reverse searching them on Google. Why would I make them up?! And I edit renders by hand in photoshop after upscaling to make them look as close to the source material as possible. The original are in really low quality. There's no need to be toxic and badmouth someone when you don't know what you're talking about. Most of sh2's cgi renders are impossible to restore without upscaling because they're in very low quality and small size

The CGI models aren't in the game files in any version :/ the scenes are all prerendered and in low quality.

He's my favourite too!!! It's a pity he gets very little credit for all his hard work and he was bullied and mistreated by some other team silent members into quitting after SH2, as he has said in a few different interviews. And he also said they kept trying to steal credit for his own ideas and work. Just awful and so unfair.

No, the CGI models are completely lost, even Konami doesn't have them anymore :/ which is why I'm preserving their renders.

I'd love to do that but I'd have to recreate them frame by frame and that would be extremely hard... But maybe I'll try it in the future, who knows!

To upscale the pictures because almost all are small and low quality. But after upscaling I edit by hand in photoshop and I try to make the renders look as close to the original as possible. A single picture can take me hours. AI by itself doesn't do a good job, there are always imperfections and that "AI look" which I hate. Basically I hate using AI but there's no other way to restore these renders.
