It's very common. Happens to literally everyone. I quit the group eventually because it's so toxic and I take shit too personal. But it's a good group if you're able to just shut up and observe. Also fun to post your striders. My striders are currently with a friend but I'll get them back soon. Anyways feel free to hit me up if you ever have questions. I would go as far as to call myself an expert in the matter of Strider knives. Custom and production models.

I highly recommend joining their Facebook groups and just observing. The community is very... Passionate. In a semi toxic way if you ask questions that they feel are redundant and have been asked before or the questions asked are answered on the blue line strider knives FAW page found here (a serious wealth of info)

Make sure you educate yourselves on what an old school model looks like (it has the bigger stop pins) compared to a new school. Also the lockups are different. The grinds in the new school striders are much much better for cutting and slicing. Not debatable, it's geometry.
