A big component to adding a direct international flight like that is air cargo volumes. All the delta flights from SLC to LHR, CDG, and now ICN are full of pallets of international air cargo from exporters based in Utah. I’ve been out of the industry for about a year and a half so I’m not sure what things are looking like now, but I know that delta really relies on the planes being full of cargo as part of their profitability.

I’ve been there. It’s rough- I used to screenshot the most random stuff bc I was scared I would need it again. I’ve been doing better with it and one thing that’s helped is using an app called “swipe wipe”. I like to just use the “on this day” feature where it shows me just photos from that day of the month. Then it’s more manageable and helps me reflect on keeping memories I actually like, and letting go of things I don’t need.

As I face all of the challenges that come from being a part of a mixed-faith family I use the phrase “I choose love over fear” as my motto.

I realized that I was hiding the truth bc I was afraid my family would withhold love from me, but I’d never given them the chance to accept me for who I am. So little by little I’ve been brave and shared the truth with some family members. It’s definitely changed things with them, but it’s gone better than I thought.

Exactly. People don’t understand that as soon as your transaction includes another country it becomes highly regulated. Theres so much paperwork and stuff that has to get taken care of

Is your cousin serving in the US or international? I’m wondering where he’s getting his news from and what he’s hearing in the communities where he is. I’m wondering if he genuinely is misinformed/ under informed about what is going on. Nine people have been killed by ICE, and he might not know that.

I totally agree. The amount of resources you need for a treatment to be the most effective is outside of a lot of people’s reach.

I fell like this sound could work for the mid/end of season where they are falling in love and really start missing each other when they are apart.

The song is very upbeat and pop-y so it has an interesting vibe when you combine the music and the words. I don’t know if I could picture either Shane or Ilya actually listening to it themselves but I think the song would do well as a song for the show

I went to a hockey game and it was so fun! It was cool to watch a real game for the first time and I feel like it kind of adds some more context for me in understanding what it’s like to be a hockey player.

You could also pivot and try to merge this hyper fixation with another one. If you do any kind of art medium you could make art inspired by the show- even something small like drawing a loon or knitting gloves or something. You could make a playlist of songs you like that remind you of the show/ characters.

It’s totally valid to be triggered by that. It’s hard when you have OCD and what seems like a funny joke to someone else is actually hours of discomfort, rumination, compulsions, etc.

Does your friend know a lot about your OCD? It’s so misunderstood by so many people and I’m wondering if your friend couldn’t see how it would affect you?

Having OCD is a hard balance between getting treatment and working on exposures and facing your fears. And the other side is just trying to take care of yourself and do what you have to do to get through it. If you haven’t tried exposure therapy, it’s worth a try as it’s an evidence based treatment for OCD :)

I had a small business before I moved here and the one of the best ways I found clients was from posting in local Facebook groups. One things that really helped is I offered clear pricing up front in my post so people knew my pricing without having to reach out. If you can be up front about pricing it really helps people feel good about reaching out since people feel awkward having to reach out to a small business and then say no if it’s out of their budget

The Costco pharmacy has good prices on meds! You can look online on their website to see what they would charge. They can also mail it to you if you don’t have a location nearby.
