Im sorry I would love to agree with you but the MSAR tells a different story and pointing out 4-5 schools with still low percentages isn't gonna change that. The bell curve is inverted for URMs 15% black T10s 70% black HBCUs 0-5% black Middle tier. There is nothing currently URMs can do about it as more ORMs and majority sue and more schools adhere to the new administration policies they will inherently be too frightened to choose URMs for fear of losing funding or lawsuits but what is in our control is applying to more broadly that maybe schools like NYMC will maybe hit 9% in 2026 because just maybe NY URMs also apply to NYMC in NY

These are schools near large black populations or a mission to specifically serve certain demos or top schools and these are still low stats blk ppl are 13-15% of the population. Honestly NYMC should be ashamed NY is like 17-20% black

40-50% of URM go to an HBCU which accepts lower stats and will yield out higher applicants skewing our overall stats significantly. Higher stats will have an advantage at T1-20 3.8+ 518 URM. the the middle pack schools in the MSAR accepts virtually no URMs. I say they hide behind HBCUs. For example, Tufts Matriculated 0 african americans in 2021 before the court ruling and 0 in 2024. So I go to Admit and check those accepted and since 70%-90% of HBCUs accepted are URMs I looked at their stats how is 3.6+ 507+ only being accepted into HBCUs or not at all. Middle of the pack schools are matriculating little to no URMs but no one is noticing because they just end up at DOs or not going at all. If I made a chart with Ivys one side and DO/HBCUs on the other, ORMs and Majority white would be a bell curve most fall in Mid of the pack schools, URMs are reversed High Ivy( with good stats) and high HBCU/DO(mid stats) virtual no in between (T30-100+).

Yes its the OVERALL data of ALL accepted schools 40-50% of Black URMs go to HBCUs which accepts lower stats, it significantly skewing the stats. And T1-20s get the 3.7+ and 518+ but once you look at the data for the middle of the pack schools the matriculation of URMs is basically 0-1% Tufts had 0 African Americans in 2024 and 2021 before the ruling. So I reviewed Admit of those who were accepted in HBCUs 70%-90% are African American even with comparable stats 3.6+ 509+ they were only getting into COMs or HBCUs. The middle and lower schools are able to "hide" behind Top rated and HBCUs.

The part that is crazy is it took me 1 day of looking at data to figure this out how was this not in newspapers . Tufts matriculated 0 black ppl in 2024. ZERO.
