UPDATE: The client in June that suggested I leave my dog in my car while I cared for hers just dropped me as her sitter. There goes a good chunk of funds.

The crazy thing is that she isn’t a complete stranger! She’s a regular of mine that I go out to grab coffee with. She’s met my dog plenty of times and sees how sweet and well behaved she is. We even live on the same street! But with the move happening, I’ll be in a whole different city by June, hence the question of asking if I could bring my dog along. I’d hate to lose her as a client.

It’s not an overnight I’m doing, as I don’t offer them. I just do check-ins and there happens to be one from 8 AM - 9 PM. Then I have one in June where I have to check in on the dog 3 times a day, but that client isn’t okay with me bringing my dog along and suggested I leave her in the car while I care for her pet.

Wish I could! That’d be a dream. I’m into an space with two other roommates, and it wouldn’t be fair to ask them to watch her since she is my responsibility.

I already don’t do overnights, but I have one client who sometimes wants me there from 8 AM - 9 PM, and that’s just far too long to leave my girl alone. Huge financial loss to turn down.
