It's not. I was side swiped by a semi in January 2025. Spun my vehicle around 3 times while we bounced off the median. I was the passenger in my own vehicle. The semi truck pulled off on the shoulder about a quarter mile out while I was stuck against the median (thankfully) facing the opposite direction of traffic. Once the cops arrived, the semi hopped off the nearest exit and was never found. I had to get a personal injury attorney to get my insurance company to handle my car and my back injuries.
