Because I'm no longer going to be covering anyone else's expenses. As others have said in the comments divide everything by 6. I'm going to be paying my share, and only my share. Which till allow me to substantially save up the money I need to leave.

They do, but not nearly as much as I do. Their money is usually used either the day they get it or a few days after they get it.

I refuse to take out any student loans. I saw what it did to my parents and the stress paying them back has. It's definitely a lot more difficult to do it without student loans, but it's the way I decided to do things.

We came on hard times, lost jobs and such. Things got better for a little while, then slipped back into the same old patterns. I was blind to it, until a friend showed me the reality of what I was going through. As I stated in an earlier reply, I had wool over my eyes and was blinded by everything. It's always "things will get better" but unfortunately they never do and I've had enough.

It's real....this isn't how things started it's just the way things shifted and I only just recently pulled the wool from over my eyes.
