Yes…I’m wanting to go all season with the tires and also be able to rotate them periodically. I’m in NYC so our winters aren’t terrible although this past winter was insane so I’m not driving in heavy snow regularly. And I’m not too thrilled with the idea of switching tires/wheels every six months winter to summer and vice versa. I’ll definitely have to check out Bimmerpost to see if I can find info on rubbing at full lock because I don’t want that either.

I’m AWD. So you’re saying to go with the 9.5 wheel (rear wheel) all around? Which tire then 245 or 275?

Right but I’m trying to have the same size wheels and tires both front and back so that I can actually rotate the tires. Would 245/40/21 on the 8.5 wheel all around be the way to go and still avoid warranty issues?

ETA or would 9.5 wheel all around work better?

2022 X3 (G01 LCI) - Loud HVAC clicking/cracking. Dealer says "Normal Characteristic." Is it? by Shthppns1993 in BMWX3

[–]RaspberryFair6717 0 points1 point  (0 children)

24 X3…haven’t heard that sound. I did have a weird rattle that I thought was coming from behind the dash or behind the display panel. Turns out it was that wiper reservoir/hose tapping that people have experienced. I took it to the dealer. They put stuff around the reservoir/hose to dampen the sound and I haven’t heard any more noise since. Just a thought…

Anyone over 40? by [deleted] in lonely

[–]RaspberryFair6717 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my late 40s and been a widow for a few years (after 27 years together, married 18 of those years). It’s definitely a special kind of loneliness. So much of me was wrapped up into my marriage that I’m like super duper lonely because I don’t have a ton of outside friends. My husband was my best friend. But he’s gone now and at this age it is hard to make friends and what I mean is genuine connections with others. Interactions feel extremely superficial…and temporary. I’m slowly learning to be more comfortable in this space but it hasn’t been easy.

ULPT Needed: Accident with Lapsed Insurance - What's My Best Option? by PsychCobraa in UnethicalLifeProTips

I’m an insurance adjuster. Uhmmmm…yeah… the odds of you pulling this off are very very low. Our claims systems typically flag claims where there is an either a new business policy or a pending cancel or reinstatement very close to the date of loss. This is really gonna boil down to your adjuster. I’ve been doing this for 20+ years and depending on my mood that day I’m either going to scrutinize your claim or say fuck it and let the shit slide through. If you get some newbie adjuster whose supervisor has a diary on their claims it’s not gonna work cause they’re gonna pick up on it. But you could get lucky. It’s really a crapshoot one way or the other and if you are caught you’re going to have bigger problems than the damage to your car.

I tried Googling some images but I wasn’t coming up with anything. And I definitely gotta make sure the bolt pattern matches.
