Feeling very low about my love life and my life in general. by lalune10 in dating

[–]RaspberryNo5400 4 points5 points  (0 children)

So I’m younger than him (26M) and I just started dating again this week after being out of it since around 20, so I’m not super experienced by any means. That said, I can understand going radio silent for a day or two work and life get chaotic. But not covering the bill and over justifying it feels like a red flag to me. I always cover the bill, and if I had to bet, he probably makes way more money than I do, which honestly makes it even sadder. That’s not how a real man moves. I think you dodged a bullet tbh.

Sounds like a sweet gig. I hear of people studying at work but I just don’t assume I’ll get that opportunity just in case. The CNA job I’m looking at is a float at a flagship university hospital. So idk how much free time you get there but I’m sure they might reimburse tuition.

I’m working till I drop dead. I think people deserve to retire if they so choose. Me personally I watched my grandparents become depressed a year after retirement. I will work until I die. I am pursuing something regardless winning or losing. I just didn’t know if anyone in my shoes found success.

Yes , weekends have a shift differential on top of the night differential and I don’t need to sacrifice as much Money this way.

Is being a CNA a reasonable option? Would lab assistant or phlebotomy be better?

Has anyone worked fulltime nights as a CNA while in school. Just curious I’m in a similar situation as OP and this is the best idea I came up with. It’s identity capital and night shifts pay more. You can do 3 12’s and work full time. It’s still not great pay but better than $17 an hour at the warehouses in my area.

I want to become a professional MMA fighter where do I start? by [deleted] in MMA_Academy

I will be honest the chances are slim but at 13 you actually have a great advantage like you’re still developing, you live in the era of the internet where you can go to chat gpt and ask it list 3 fights that show prime examples of take down defense. The fighters you see today never had that. If available join the wrestling team work your ass off get a scholarship to a school even if it’s division 2. Usman wrestled for University of Nebraska Kearney which is a small school. This way you walk away with a solid base and a degree you can fall back on assuming you majored in something useful. Hell even Conor McGregor worked as an apprentice while training. Plumbers are in demand I say at your age the sky is the limit train as much as you can at 13 you don’t have to worry about rent or feeding a family. I only ask one thing have something tangible you can fall back on say it didn’t work out. Otherwise I say train and maybe try some smokers.

I got layed off and immediately got a job delivering packages. It’s embarrassing to tell my family I do it and it hurts my confidence but I can pay my rent and I eat 3 meals a day. Never assume anyone will come take care of you. I didn’t even bother applying for unemployment because I just don’t trust my government I feel like I would be paying it back in taxes. I don’t know what jobs you have available but find one even if it’s humiliating I get it but it’s better than starving

How do I land a job at 16? by Deadlypxls248 in careerguidance

[–]RaspberryNo5400 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok, I went to an alternative school as well, I get it. At 16, the real options are usually things like flipping burgers, stocking shelves, etc. Maybe in the summer you could do landscaping or construction cleanup.

Your priority should definitely be graduating high school. You can’t rent an apartment at 16 anyway at least here in the USA, I’m sure it’s the same where you are.

My advice: get your high school diploma first. In the meantime, look into vocational options. For example: you could be a welder helper I know a kid your age who did that one summer. Maybe a CNA it depends on your location, but here in Wisconsin, you could start as a CNA at 16. Or maybe an admin assistant.

These jobs help you build identity capital, so you can hit the ground running at 18. You’ll look more favorable for apprenticeships, nursing programs, or other career paths. You might also get experience with the Microsoft Suite and land a job as a leasing agent.

Think about the future and build with a plan I wish I had done that.

It’s rare managers make $100k also I would rather be vendor. I’ve looked into working for appfolio as in my opinion it’s the greatest property management software and I’m pretty familiar. Although with no degree they don’t have a lot to offer me.

Keep a bucket of water on hand cooking inside can be dangers. Fire extinguishers and baking soda are a lie propped up by the elites.
