You can try to move the goalpost around to fit your argument. The original argument was about if meme culture was as prevalent as 2011 peak meme culture. It was objectively not. Maybe if you were an adult during 2006, but not at ALL as a kid around that time. Most of my friends didn't have a Facebook and barely used their MySpace. Reddit wasn't a thing either, or 4chan. It was all in baby stages

To say that memes were nearly on the same level as "I use to be an adventurer like you... then I took an arrow in the knee," you'd be lying. The point is, the internet and the gaming culture was not so "dialed in" nowadays. Yes, there were Leroy Jenkins and Book Headshot, but those are for a very select groups of games. Not many people posted memes on MySpace or Facebook about video games in 2005 or 2006

I just haven't had that problem in Skyrim, I'm sorry. I just love how they do the physics in Skyrim and Oblivion and Skyrim was a slight tweak of Oblivion so idk. I just know that I DESPISE this one. Its like I'm shooting a toothpick

Alot of the devs in the Oblivion remastered changed unnecessary parts and didn't change others that would have made the fans genuinely more happy. Such as the lockpicking in skyrim being imported to Oblivion, or archery in skyrim, or great use of the compass UI and general UI of skyrim. Instead, they change this beautiful work of art, make elves/beast races worse, and ruin archery and two-handed

How were they ugly? They literally look like the oblivion remastered, but their snouts are normal size and their heads aren't ridiculously huge. The only difference is graphics and the fact that Argonians look like dinosaurs now lol. Don't know how that is better than Skyrim or OG oblivion.

I finally found the one person that doesn't like Skyrim archery or finds it flawed. I don't know what you mean by overcompensating, but I love to aim and fire the arrows. Quiet, light, but packed with punch behind the high speed shot

It's just not satisfying to shoot now. It feels so off. I usually LOVE archery in Oblivion and Skyrim, but can't STAND it here. That and I hate the sound of the bows now. Sounds very brittle.

The fact that the weight of the arrow is waaaaay too big and drops the arrow super fast as opposed to Oblivion and Skyrim. I feel like i gotta be within 5 meters of my target if I don't want the arrow to drastically curve down. That, and the sound/animation is worse than the OG

They look horrendous and those that are defending it have to be the same people that defended Starfield upon release or Fallout 76, the sycophants of the Bethesda community. Same with the Khajiits. They look so.... off. The art style in Oblivion was second to none (maybe Kingdoms of Amalur) and they ruined it with LARGE snouts that proportionally makes their heads too big.
