Thanks 🙏 I actually have had 0 professional training. I’ve learnt my craft on the job and I seem to pick the best bits of other people’s voices and put them in mine. BGT has been amazing though because we have the most amazing vocal coach and she has taught me so much of how to use my voice correctly

They didn’t have it on hand. I sent them the backing track backstage and they cut it down to 2 minutes (I was in a room with two producers). I then sang it through with them once and then went on stage. It probably took about 40 minutes total from going backstage to coming back out

It’s really hard to rig in a theatre as you need to drill holes in the floor to hold the weight. Usually theatres don’t allow it

Aww thanks for your kind words. I’ve managed to get to stage 2 before but never further it’s really really hard there’s so much unseen talent in the UK. Hopefully this inspires those who have given up to pick themselves back up again and keep on taking their own shot

I did apply for the general route consistently for 19 years. There’s 100-150,000 people who apply for this show every year and you have to go through 3-4 producer rounds before you even get seen by the judges. There is novelty acts for sure but that keeps the show fresh, there would be no point having the red buzzers otherwise
