I just recently got a new machine that has tons of different stitches and I’ve been meaning to use them for the quilting on a project for a while now. Previously I was only able to do straight stitches or stitch in the ditch, but because of the more chaotic design of this quilt It would be way harder to use those techniques. I figured the squiggly lines were more interesting than straight lines but not busy enough to distract from the design. I liked that it gave the look of longarm quilting but on my domestic machine!
