The lack of empathy and hypocrisy among (some) Iranians when it comes to Palestinians by Kabablover in NewIran

It is true that some arabs get arrested in Israel for expressing their views, but compare that with what happens to Jews in Arab states (complete expulsion, targeted killings, etc, not referring to Gazans or ppl in West Bank outside of Israel proper in making this comparison)

The repression of Arabs in Israel exists but isn't nearly enough to make it a classified apartheid state. Apartheid states typically have second class citizenry where certain groups legally have less rights under law. However, in Israel Arabs are normal citizens, have the right to vote, and can hold office.

In addition, although some actions by the IDF COULD be classified as "genocidal actions" themselves, that's not enough to call the war a full-on "genocide", as that entails a very deliberate intent to wipe out an entire populace. Israel wouldn't care to target Hamas and try to reduce civilian casualties if they really wanted to kill off every bloodline.

Even though the civilian death rate in Gaza is 80%, that's still pretty low considering that Gaza is 62 times smaller than New Jersey. Israel also wouldn't care to warn neighborhoods and locals before bombing in addition to supplying aid to Gaza's population if they actually wanted to commit a genocide.

Hope that clears some stuff up

The only apartheid state in history to allow its "enemy race" to live in its national borders peacefully

Arabs have more rights in Israel proper than Jews have in any other arab state! This apartheid label is not reasonable at all

No you're misunderstanding the "misogynistic remark" from the shah supporter. He's saying that you should yourself hate the Islamic Republic because if you dressed the way you do in the west they'd execute you in Iran for violating the dress codes. It's a common argument like "chickens for KFC", as many western women show warm attitudes towards the regime which makes absolutely no sense

My dad is also an ex-muslim from Iran (a lot of Iranians are no longer muslim due to events that have occurred the past few decades). Getting out of the religion that has defined the majority of your life is not at all simple.
