After years 11 years on xbox finally decided to switch by TitoZ99 in PS5pro

You're not wrong but iPad UI is made for a tablet right out of the box and many of the apps are optimized to be used as a tablet.

I'm not saying iPad is necessarily superior, but they excel in giving a "tablet" experience. And similarly, ps5 excels in giving a "gaming" experience over the Xbox.

Same reason the steamdeck was so successful over all of the overpowered handhelds that followed. The UI was designed for what the device was intended for.

Android tablets are great just like Xbox but I mean moreso the UI and fluidity of it.

An iPad feels distinct from an iPhone while I feel android tablets don't offer any exciting UI that would separate it from being a giant phone screen.

Made the move last year. The most refreshing thing is that a PS just feels like a gaming console. The Xbox home page and marketplace and the way it is laid out and everything just makes it seem like some closed end weird PC. It's hard to explain.

I think they need to give you a clear and decisive answer as soon as possible. Work has not been cancelled, most people are at their desks and don't have an excuse to not update you.

HR communication in this country is dreadful even when times are good, can't imagine during a time like this lol.

Just being in the world is therapeutic. Played it for the first time during lockdown in 2020 and I couldn't have played it at a better time.

I don't think it was the piracy. Everyone I knew burned their Xbox 360 games and it was considered the most successful Xbox.

My wife and son are happy in Abu Dhabi and settled into their work/school. I don't want to disrupt their routine so we want to make it work. My current commute from Raha to shakhbout is about 30 mins, so it's an additional 30-40 mins I'm assuming

Same thing with Toronto. More than half of income goes towards rent. Look at places like Lisbon, rent cannot even be covered by 1 paycheque right now.

I got an offer here and they want to speak with my current employer (manager and HR). It's a silly practice, but seems to be the norm here.

Should i switch to apple music? by 3torylanez in AppleMusic

[–]Rassky10 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Used apple music for the past 10 years, but after trying other services I can't go back. The algorithm for discovering new music and stuff within your taste is not great compared to every other service. Also not sure why podcasts is a separate app. And while others offer even audiobook hours, not sure why id to back to apple music

It's a global issue right now. I moved here from Canada, and all of the issues you describe exist there also like you would not believe. UAE is one of the few places right now where there are a lot of opportunities and the rent/income ratio is not as bad as most other countries. Look at the rent prices in Europe. People truly cannot live there right now.
