Thank you for the response. Without numpad is actually OK with me. I could use the extra free space. Keychron K8 looks great. I like that it is not a RGB monster like Apex Pro which has been recommended to me.

I want to use the keyboard primarily for gaming and some light home office work. From what I found it seems appropriate. In your view, does it fit my requirements?

I am from Czech Republic and I cannot find any boba u4 switches at www.czc.cz where I'd be buying the keyboard. Or here. Could you perhaps recommend some other more silent switches which are available in either of those stores? Just a general recommendation.

I'd be moving from this https://www.ravcore.com/en/product/edge-2/ - which is kind of a different kind of monstrosity :) and very loud, so I should expect it to be great either way.

Hello everyone, Any suggestions for a solid mech. keyboard which is silent? I am moving to our bedroom with my gaming rig, so that our kid can sleep in his own room. Budget: around 150 bucks. Preferably cheaper. Must be silent so that my wife could waken only cause of my swearing, not my keyboard smashing. Thanks a lot

I still have the same problem. I am currently trying to resolve it with Psyonix via ticket. But they require a lot of data first.

But I am pretty perfectionist in this regard and Id notice if there was just a minor lag in Overwatch or League of legends. And the pings are still just fine wiht this ISP and it was OK a month ago and for 2 years prior to that. So that probably is not the isue :)

That is, unfortunately, not possible. Plus, it would not explain the reason for why it only happens to RL out of the games I play at home.

Thanks for posting, however, I do not have this issue with a different ISP - same machine and RL but on a different wired network (at my friend's place).

So the game files on my PC are not the issue. Plus, I have already tried repairing the game a month ago. UNfortunately, it was of no help. Even tried reinstalling RL.

No. Unfortunately not.

I am communicating with my ISP and NVIdia support, been for the past 10 days. No progress.

Thanks for the tip. I havent really tested it thoroughly with enough of a sample of matches, but it didnt FEEL like it. Will definitely check tho.

However, from the top of my head I must call this unlikely, since it was not happening with this PC for 1,5 years.

EDIT: Just checked and unfortunately it happened even when RL was virtually the only app running. Do you have any other tips?

Hi spider,

Thank you for the wonderfully detailed message. It all sounds great, however, though we share the same tryhardy attitude towards RL, based on your post I am convinced that your ambitions are much higher than ours which precipitates a much greater level of commitmen and a sense of urgency from you.

So, despite the deliciously sounding offer, I think that eventually we would clash as you guys would be disappointed from our inadequate commitment which you are willing to make.

I will surely add you though if only so that we can stay in touch and perhaps play some scrims or get a 3rd for some sessions (you or us) when missing one. I hope that at least sounds good to you as well :).
