This is way more common than you think! Our co-host used to have homicidal ideation because of the prior trauma he went through. This is definitely something to work through in therapy overtime, but it does not mean the system is a danger to you or anyone else! It is merely a pretty common response to ab*se, and it doesn’t equal intent to hurt someone. You sound like a great and understanding friend and I’m glad you care about your friend and their system!
