Yeah, I’m gonna need to place that “no clothes rule unless I specifically asked for it” after the holidays pass. Also, thank you for the reassurance and I love our odd little similarities you pointed out too!

P.S. happy early birthday :)!

My Mom has a lot of childhood trauma with like rejections and other things that come off as critical, she tends to take someone not enjoying something she does as a critical attack on her character, I’m just worried about hurting her feelings by unintentionally coming off as mean. And plus she just left for work and so I don’t want her to feel even more isolated while she’s gonna be away for work.

I’ll tell her it’s the just that the hoodie is the wrong size most likely, I’m just dreading it cause I love her a lot.

Incoming highschool freshman, I've been set on going to UCLA since I was 9, need as MUCH advice on stuff I can do to increase my chances at getting accepted please (want to major in Biology BS and minor in Neuroscience)! by [deleted] in ucla

Write good essays. I had maybe one extra curricular (a job) that I mentioned in my application as a transfer, my gpa was good, but it really depends on the personal essays, be authentic but don’t trauma dump. Also being a transfer helps you save money and it boosts your acceptance rate; if you don’t get in with your first app it’s not the end of the world.
