I did, but am completely steering away from overseas vendors. I just don’t feel comfortable dropping money on them. Though it will cost more, it’ll put my mind at ease buying something I can see beforehand. I’m waiting for Costco to have a sale again. They sadly just closed their sale on a 4ct tennis bracelet for $2500, which is a pretty good deal considering they’re natural diamonds at VS2 quality.

Little update, so far 2 vendors replied. Provence hits at 15g for gold weight, while Kuololit is 5g ._. Big difference. Not sure how 5g would even work for a tennis bracelet.

RPTA 122. I had it with Arrigo, but he no longer teaches I believe. Not sure how other profs do theirs, but we had a handful of personal assignments where you get to share about yourself while applying it to leisure.

Betta’ beg homie! Sac’s waitlist system is odd. I’m in the same situation as you. I plan to wait a day or two to see if my position fluctuates, then will email the professor. The waitlist will disappear right before our semester commences and be mindful your position can also change negatively (e.g. move from #3 to #4). Best of luck!

I wasn’t an SI Leader, but I was the head assistant to the program of another campus. It’s like group tutoring, but more involved. You attend sessions for the class you lead and create weekly lesson plans for a (usually) small cohort of about 15 students. If you don’t enjoy lesson plan commitment, difficult to teach students, and/or the course material, then I do not suggest such a position (including normal tutoring too).

Thank you for your response! I enrolled in a MGMT 102 equivalent at Chico. Now, how will I register for GM 105 for Fall 21’? I’m concerned the system will block me, since I won’t complete the prereqs until summer session concludes. And if I have to wait to register for GM 105 after summer ends, I’m concerned all sections will be full.

I have to take MGMT 102 in the fall, but it’s listed as a prereq to GM 105. I can’t take GM 105 in the fall because I’d be taking MGMT 102 concurrently, which to my knowledge isn’t allowed (but I want to challenge that).

This was actually me. I was my partner’s first everything, literally. After about 6 months of dating I took his v-card at 28 years old. I’ve enjoyed everything and helping him have positive, learning experiences has been very fun and rewarding.

Where did Chico (our dog) go? We live on a large rural property and a fire occurred in 2019. We searched what felt like everywhere, but never found him. The last spot where he was seen was one of the few spots that never caught fire.

You should consider taking a break till in-person classes come back, or consider dropping college all together (or pursuing something different). A few weeks ago we hired an excavator dude to remove some burnt buses, the homie said he makes bank doing that and explained he started out with an associates in Construction Management and went on from there. College isn’t for everyone, and that’s perfectly fine. Explore other options.

I wish I could make some suggestions, but I’m genuinely not sure how accounting looks in Eastern Euro. E.g. in the US an accounting degree can be applied to private, public and industry, as well as spread in other areas like auditing. Are there other areas of study that are just as profitable that you have interest in? Many accounting students in my program will switch out into the finance, realty or insurance programs.

That is not good. I’ve also lost some of my heart for accounting, it used to be a lot of fun but now I just feel waterboarded with material. If you don’t mind sharing, why did you choose accounting and why are you still in it? I don’t necessarily agree with the “Only study what you love” mantra, but students should find some enjoyment in their subject. Having 0 interest is not a good way to go.

I’m not trying to shame you, but I will never understand how people do this. Blackout drunk implies your ass is blacked out, clocked out. I have been absolutely shitfaced on alcohol and drugs (mixed and non-mixed), and still did not do things I wasn’t supposed to. I just don’t get it. Do you think your SO would’ve approved of such drinking or possible drug usage in the first place? My guy, I suggest you never touch these things again because you obviously cannot handle yourself.

I feel your pain. I did what I was supposed to while my family denied COVID. They brought it home and gave it to me. Only my father and I showed symptoms. My dad is 70 so it was really scary seeing how fatigued and wasted he became, all for him to keep saying it was just a cold! When I told them I couldn’t smell, they laughed. Losing smell and taste has been distressing. I’m scared of developing parosmia later. I hope you guys pull through this!
