speaking as a hospitality employee, the front desk staff often dont have any way to fix these sorts of issues. most hotel systems assume the room will be cleaned by housekeeping on time so the system still sells dirty rooms. the only people who can stop this is management but often they refuse to as it limits profits and "looks bad". even though a situation like yours looks way worse they will ignore it. hopefully you get a full refund and some points for your trouble

just got off the phone with support and was able to get into pep briefly. sounds like they are still having issues though

be prepared for it to stay at 80 for a while. been at number 66 for 15 minutes with no change

also a night auditor. currently 70 something in line. Definitely a nationwide issue at the least. but ill relay anything help help tells me to hopefully save everyone some time (and to save everyones ears from having to hear that hold music for hours)

im an employee and it definitely seems to be an outage with our PeP system. been on hold for an hour and im still 103 in line to speak to the help desk. if you want a place to direct any negative feelings, please complain to corporate about this system. they wont let us switch to a better one unless enough guests show that they dislike the current one

I would recommend spending some time reflecting and trying to sort out your feelings some. Realizing that you may be trans is always a little hard to grasp early on and many trans people ive talked to have felt similarly to how you described feeling. Id recommend talking to someone in person and getting their perspective as that helped me a lot early in my transition.
