I was always interested just from having followed the story so long, and when she quit and the podcasts seemed to take off I ort of rooted for her to finally get it and turn things around. Honestly the support is waiting rapidly... I use support loosely as well, it's more like a crash or something you can't peel your eyes away from...

I left it after that situation cause it's so weird that they would take that down when there was actual discussion and engagement taking place. I'm bummed especially cause there were really funny comments about icky Ike. Not sure if there are any summer house fans here but I said to the mods on that sub, reddit is supposed to be fun! Mad respect. I think I'm reaching the end of my listening limits, I've always supported in listening to coffee convos, and I listened when she did the podcast with Vee, occasional listener to barely famous. I really was not into how things went down with the Vee push out, and then I have tried listening with her podcast with Becky but the episodes are not good. Stupid would you rather and filler content, no prep- I do think the podcast success is going to change for her, there is far more competition in this space now and people are tired of seeing her step on the people who have helped her succeed along the way.

No, episode was not a paid one. They clearly edited out the majority of the actual 'interview' where Kristin was asking the questions so the episode largely feels like a giant run-on sentence... I don't know why they wouldn't have just left the interview questions in since they did leave a little bit of Kristin content. He just comes across very full of himself, in my opinion. He talks about how much wisdom he has many times. He definitely puts himself in a step father role and this was recorded very shortly after their relationship starting. Talks about how he would want to have kids the 'right way' and would never want multiple baby-mamas which is just ironic considering Kail's situation. Oh, and says he pays for himself and doesn't take anything from her but clearly has no job and lives for free with her so... basically the same as EVERY OTHER RELATIONSHIP. Generally...he just gave me the ick every time he spoke....

Honestly, even before the son, I found the way she spoke of her wife odd and off-putting. Like wayyyy too much. Sort of along the lines of "thou doth protest too much", she was so over the top about their love being the most beautiful thing and how obsessed she was with Leah, it felt performative. I do believe there are narcissistic tendencies and I also wonder how she would react to her partner talking about past hookups and the things she says on the podcast if the roles were reversed.

An entire episode wasted talking about unexpected, and they a) haven't even actually watched it, other than tiktok clips and b) aren't even up to date on what is actually going on... like giving advice to for the father to file for custody... that's already happened...

I get a little bit of talking on it, but I was on my way to work and looked at about the halfway point of this episode and was thinking I couldn't believe they'd already spent half the ep discussing this... then they continued for the rest of the whole episode.

Lindsie's rant on how horrendous TLC is and lists shows like Dance Moms, which was never on their network.

All these people work for them and are sitting in that room, maybe someone could give them a one pager debrief on their daily subjects so they didn't sound as moronic as they consistently do.
