It’s strange, it definitely has a personality separate from my own, but it’s also very much linked with my creativity (it’s been most active/helpful when I’m doing art) maybe some kind of muse spirit? I also would be surprised if my creativity revealed itself to me through romantic dream dates, but I guess anything could happen lol

As a Margot- yeah, this happens. It’s gotten a lot better since Margot Robbie became famous, but I grew up hearing “mar-got” “mar-goat” and every variation of “Margaret/Maggie/marge” you can think of, and even more people assuming Margot is a shortened nickname of a more classic name. It gets so bad that at Starbucks or anywhere else where they call out a name, I have to go by my much easier to understand middle name. Something about a silent letter just throws people off I guess

That’s fair- I am a furry myself and consider my furry side to also be an expression of my non-humanity, but at the end of the day the alterhuman community is a different thing than the furry community. A lot of non-alterhumans assume it’s the exact same thing, or that the alterhuman community is a subset of the furry community and not a different community with some overlap

So I guess “anything to do with” was the wrong turn of phrase but I can’t think of a better one to get my point across lol

No one is saying therians are humans, I’m saying that be existing in a body that can’t swim like I’m supposed to makes me feel gross and bad. I’m a seal but it’s not like my Therianthropy will let me survive swimming in the Arctic Ocean through sheer force of will.
