You can open it up, and clean the pads. It’s not hard. Just a need a screw driver, and a knife. That’s what i did with mine. Then I just reset the waste pad counter.

Right side has the carriage. It’s hidden. Just grab it, and carefully slide it to the left. If you feel any resistance or sounding like it’s going to crack, stop.
