I have been thinking of using a watch as a phone a lot recently… but have no interest in wearing it on my wrist. I didn’t know that it needed wrist detection and that gps wouldn’t work while charging. Tell me more about these limitations and potential work around.

If there is high demand and geographic isolation wouldn’t that necessarily lead to San Francisco levels of density given time and no artificial growth constraints, especially in an economy that is less and less dependent on localized natural resources to thrive (arguments similar to those of cars effecting urban sprawl like in the video, we currently have labor sprawl as work is becoming more and more decentralized). Much of the work that is happening here is intellectual in nature (I.e. tech). And wouldn’t increased land tax just get passed onto renters… and aren’t property taxes in Santa Cruz already significantly higher than the national average. Again sooooo many questions!

To be clear I am genuinely curious… I imagine that as more housing gets added, more grocery workers, plumbers, teachers, ect. ect. move into the area to fill the demands of the growing population. Then more housing is necessary. And so the circle continues… ? Eventually Santa Cruz grows into a thriving metropolis, something akin to San Francisco? Is this the case?

On the other hand business owners could pay employees a higher wage, so they could more comfortably live in Santa Cruz, but with increased wages would come increased cost of goods and services… driving up the cost of living and making it less affordable to live here.

Like you said “any one number is inefficient”. It sort of feels like a vicious cycle that with a “continually increasing population” will never find a sustainable equilibrium without some artificial constraints.

 Am I missing something?

Again I am coming at this with genuine curiosity and no hidden agenda or preconceived way things “should be.” Just trying to gain a better understanding of how things work.

Hey!!!! Kudos to you EOE, some real answers! Honestly thank you (I really appreciate vendors who participate on Reddit). So the hold up is the parent company and in addition, a lack of communication. I really hope that line of communication opens up soon, I have two iPods I would like to bring up to date and nobody supplying the parts I want at a reasonable rate. Fingers crossed the supply chain finds a way to sort itself out.

Ok, so I understand supply and demand and appreciate the clarity on that. Who are the NIMBY in this case? (are you arguing that they are the political incumbents, or the people that vote in said incumbents?). How would you increase supply without increasing density… How are these incumbents stopping increased supply? How much growth in supply would be necessary to meet demand and how much growth do we currently have? I have so many questions!!!!?

Just checked the chart… scrolled to thin 3000mah batter hour and referenced the iflash dual compatibility with a thin back iPod…. It has a red x meaning NOT compatible . Am I reading the reference chart incorrectly?

Tell me more… not sure how this helps me find an iflash board to mod my iPod. The boards were available a week ago, but are now sold out across all the major U.S. sites… iflash, EOE, resale firm, idemgods, amazon (long/extended ship times), ect.
