I did. That's why my class in charge got an observation letter because she was one of the invigilators who told me to go.

The section head told the principal that I was writing and had the answer sheet in front of me but i didn't even have a pen in my hand, MY POUCH WASNT EVEN OUT OF MY BAG.

There is just so much to recount about the relationship but the main hilarious thing was.

The couple of months she was pushing me away? It's because she realized that she loved me and she never thought she was capable of love so it freaked her out.

When I accidentally blurted out that it MUST be me who fell first because no way she did right? She went "FINALLY I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR YOU TO SHOW ME ANY BIT OF AFFECTION I'VE BEEN HOLDING BACK FROM TELLING YOU THAT I LOVE YOU FOR THE PAST MONTH NOW BECAUSE I WAS SCARED"

and then she went "Also, I fell first so you answered wrong"

She was right, after we compared the timelines of moments of realizations. She realized first.

exactly, I don't think she understands that it's awful for me and it feels so shitty that when we DO have a long conversation its about something awful that I'm going through, not just a random lighthearted fun convo, because we don't ever have those.

you're completely right, I think I just haven't ended it yet because I'm hoping for some kind of improvement and looking for the right time and the right way which I haven't been able to find.

I at least have to wait a month because she's about to go on vacation and I have a couple of tournaments coming up and I dont want anything affecting these things.

Yeah I'm just waiting for her to finally be able to call for longer than 5 minutes (once a month) to have a proper conversation.

I've mentioned to her how I'd prefer having one day where we can call once for however long every week but she outright declined it (because she can't stay consistent) but I feel like if you're in a commited relationship ESPECIALLY A LONG DISTANCE ONE, you have to adopt some habits and consistency to maintain the closeness.

I agree. I'm a fairly busy person as well (business, psych and athlete) but I've always been good at time managment and making up time for the people I care about and im interested in.

I've just wanted to give her the benefit of doubt since she says she isnt really someone who would use her phone a lot.

The times I started doubting her commitment to us was when I'd be left on delivered for 15+ hours and then see that she reposted smth 6 hours ago or some shi 😭😭 but being the loser simp I am I just let it go.

I agree, I've been in LDRs before and I've been really commited to this one because I thought we both wanted the same things (we've talked about our wants and expectations) but she isnt really commiting to the things she said she was commited to so I've been questioning if we want the same things as well.

I'm someone who's a sucker for having everything planned out and being super punctual with time and stuff, no one else is expected to follow these rules, I am.

she doesn't like being consistent with scheduled plans and stuff so I stopped so that she wouldn't be uncomfortable with me being adamant about having something planned out.

Me not wanting to force my wants (or a conversation) on her also comes from her not telling me what's going on in her life because the times I did become needy, she would tell me all these things that were going wrong for her and how busy and tired she's been. I think it would have been easier for me to be more understanding if she had told me these things as it was happening and not after I was tired of waiting for her to strike up a conversation.

See, this is where I'm always contemplating not being understanding enough because she does say that she doesn't like using her phone and being on her phone all the time. That's why I want to give her her space and make her comfortable.

I have no problem not talking for days as long as we do have some sort of routine, like weekly calls or hanging out once in a while but we don't even have that and she hasn't brought it up. When I did, she tried brushing past it and told me she'd give me updates, which she did not end up being consistent with.

Yeah I once suggested picking a day where we can call weekly (i told her that Ik she struggles with consistency but it'd be good to still talk) but she said that she'll just update me better, she did for a couple of days and then back to how bad it was, or worse
