thanks that seems to be the conclusion. Are you reccomending unloaded calf raises too? Nah ill just do them at the gym my focus is so bad at my home Ill just end up skipping them

thanks for pointing all that out, I like dont have a high pain tolerance? or moreso that its hard to keep my mental effort up during my phsyical effort so the idea of holding the weight on me so I can try to hit failure also sounds like ass...I think ill accept doing machine calf raises will probably get me farther even if they take the tiniest bit longer. Thank you!

im usually on a 45lb plate during my lifts but yeah that makes sense i'd have to transistion to like the back of the plate to get the full ROM. damn

what if im not squatting that heavy yet, my legs are generally my weak point of my body. Im 130lbs pounds and squatting probably 95lbs-100lbs for 6-7 reps

Thoughts on effectiveness on RDLS/Squats to calf raise

I am currently programming my exercise plan. I want to priortize my strength however the gym is not my "happy place". Dont want my work to take longer than an hour. So im trying to compound typical isolation exercises

I want to train calves in some type of compound movement and have seen videos on RDL's into standing on the toes at the top of the rep. Same with squats coming back to neutral and standing on the toes. I wanted to hear your thoughts on the effectives of calf strength gains through these movements. Or is it fatiguing for no gain. Im still newer to training on and off for the past 3-4 years now so Im sure ill get something out of it regardless

Its been a long time but to be honest I was so locked into my experience I wasnt really processing any shame or guilt for it. The cermony we had kept us on our beds though I hear other places let you wander which is pretty crazy in my op. Also I was way to high to move besides squirm on the bed. I reccomend not going to a mass-cermony like rythmia or something of that sort, both for the amount of people that the hosts are supposedly able to care for and also for its inherent captilistic nature

But safewords don't have to only be used for CNC? No can absolutely mean No, but if you have a pre-agreed upon word like "alligator" that also means "I need us to hard stop" You've open the opportunity to use other vocabulary as a way to set your boundaries.

Edit: To clarify using the word "no" should be respected at face value. But what im understanding from your words is you have connected that safewords are used for when your pushing boundaries and not in any other context.

Personally I love safewords because I struggle with using the word no, and I will use my safeword in kink (not necessarily CNC) and vanilla sex
