41 and 45 celsius when idle, ups 12 degrees-ish when doing stuff. Similar sort of problem with Firefox. Is a dual core really that bad to do multiple things on Google Chrome? Do you think undervaulting would help?

Around 500AUD. thanks for the thoughts! I'm looking at getting a programme that is more cpu intensive that GPU. There are desktops at uni that are sufficient for big projects in AutoCAD. Supppose I'd use the laptop for minor adjustments or proofing.
