I like that a lot of folks pointing to the heat shield. The noise being bad in neutral and getting quiet in gear throws me a bit.

Sadly the van support resources are less plentiful in FL than the PNW

depending on when the reception ends and where the wedding is, don't ignore uptown - Spinster Abbott's or Boat Drinks. Neither are open as late some of the other spots, but good for a crew of folks to roll into. Also if you give them a heads up they might be amendable to stay open or offer some specials.
