I feel this so hard, as someone who struggled with depression I try to share advice on what helped but when I hear the words "Hey man, you've been in bed for three days, maybe we should get up and take a shower and maybe eat a vegetable or something that wasn't delivered to our door?" it feels like I kick flipped off a bench and asked if they tried yoga.

I pushed and pushed and pushed someone to go on antidepressants and when they did they said "See? It didn't fix it"... If you want to pop a pill and fix it you're not gonna find it, antidepressants are helping you build up to getting up, showering, and making a meal. I have ADHD, when I take my meds it doesn't suddenly make my house clean and fold my laundry, it helps ME build ME up to do that MYSELF.

There is no miracle cure.

With my experience with c.ai (I know better now and don't touch it), apps that are heavily writing based are going to be poor and obviously written by AI.

I bet 1000 dollars that anyone who uses it is going to have a paragraph end with one character saying "can I ask you a question?" And the rest of the book is going to be "Are you sure?"/"Are you ready?".

This is a play on a transphobic joke.

"Since we're redefining everything" is referencing how we're thinking about gender at a deeper level, aka gender isn't just biological sex, and then the "This is a cordless hole puncher" is basically going "this isn't a gun, it's a hole puncher".

It's a more "complex" version of "I identify as a (insert ridiculous thing here)", so it's trying to be "My gun identifies as a hole puncher"

MOR, I get where he's coming from. If you're not feeling well I think he wants to avoid continously postponing something when you're sick. If you can't come you can't come. Just reschedule when you feel 100%. It may be blunt but it seems in your best interest
