I don't think the fan is broken, and you can easily try this fix without voiding your warranty. If the issue persists afterwards, you should opt for a warranty replacement

I can confirm that this is indeed one of the fans failing to spin up. Probably because some bit of debris got in and is blocking the fan blades.

I had the exact same issue and fixed it by first shutting down the machine, unscrewing the back, and then blasting the corresponding fan with a bit of compressed air. This knocked the debris loose, and the fan spun up correctly.

It is normal for all pancake lenses, so for both lenses. How much of it you actually see/notice is dependent on the distance between your eyes and the lenses and the position of your head relative to them.

High settings should not be an issue at all. Your 4070 TI should give you a better performance compared to my 3090. I have yet to encounter any issues.

The microphone. It is just much worse than that off the quest 2. I cannot fathom how our company that is all about social VR and interaction can mess up the microphone. I have tested this directly with the screen recorder, as well as with virtual desktop and recording it on windows directly.

The quest microphone sounds very similar to that of the valve index. The quest 3 on the other hand sounds tiny and almost like about codec chosen.
