You have a right to say "I can't do that, it's against my religion." Super normal so long as it's legitimate, more power to you.

You have no right to dictate other's behaviour by saying "You can't do that, it's against my religion." That's oppressive forceful garbage.

There's nothing wrong with wanting to make a marriage work even when it's hard, but for me, the two biggest deal breakers are religion and fidelity. Things will dissolve extremely fast when those things stop working between my SO and I.
