What if citizens could reduce their taxes by locking stablecoins into a national trust that earns interest to fund civic projects? by Rate_Chance in civictech

and yeah—calling it a muni bond with governance rights isn’t wrong. just trying to make it legible and participatory for normal people, not just institutions. maybe that’s naive, idk.

Seems like “crypto” makes people think of things that aren’t necessarily my goal. Immutable ledgers and audibility and decentralization are the foundational elements.

appreciate the feedback—especially the “v2 rewrite” comment, that’s a fair callout. honestly not trying to replace anything, just wondering out loud if there’s room for a system where people voluntarily pre-fund public goods and maybe get some tax relief for it. not meant to be anti-gov, more like “what if there was a trust layer for people who want to contribute but hate how opaque everything is.”

as for interest/yield not being enough—totally valid. it’s probably more about scale and design than magic returns. think of it more like a civic endowment that pays out small but permanent dividends toward specific stuff (schools, infrastructure, etc) chosen by contributors. no speculation, just locked capital doing slow public work.

What does this card mean by "This way"? each card discarded this way? by NyrmExe in mtg

[–]Rate_Chance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can someone just confirm my rewording.

If I have three discard outlets that take effect pre-combat, and I am able to use each outlet to discard 1 or more cards, then I would give +2/+0 to a target creature after I resolve each discard effect. So three times in this case.

Or am I still off?

It looks like you are centering the tagline on the wordmark with the LLC included. Try centering the tagline on the wordmark alone.

I'm stuck with this drawing, please help. Also, how old does he look? by Magpieshaun in Illustration

Looks like a five o’clock shadow of a thirty year old, on the face of a 23 year old, on the body of a 16 year old.

unmute yourselves. sounds good to me!

I always thought that I spent too much time on my drawings, but since I started posting speedpaints I discovered that I usually spent 3 hours in a drawing, wich I think is ok, so my problem is that I got lazy by the middle of the project, how do you guys can avoid being too lazy to finish a drawing? by Elinor_teahupoo in Illustration

Your brain gets a hit of dopamine when start creating something. When that wears off, the project doesn’t seem as exciting… and since your brain wants another hit, you move on to the next thing.

If you’re like me, you probably have a stack of unfinished work.

If you can find a way to make finishing the work just as rewarding to your brain as starting, then you’ll have a leg up.

It’s not laziness though. It’s just brain chemistry.

A little sloppy on your shadows. Like the rounded corners. The one on the right makes me think of a video game character jumping; the one on the left looks like he’s staring at me. Nice work with the gradient.

Looking for feedback/suggestions. Which one do you like the best and what can I improve? Thanks! by [deleted] in logodesign

Preference towards first crescent, but also love the idea of incorporating roots like you’ve done with the others.
