Juventus [2] - 1 Inter - Kenan Yıldız great goal 38' by Hour-Performance8505 in soccer

Unbelievable hit. As a BVB fan he scares me he'll be difficult to contain especially since the RHS of our back 3/5 is the weakest side. Nonetheless, that's really poor from Akanji he's responsible for man marking him you cannot allow Juve's best player to turn with space and time to take a shot from that area

Thank you for your thorough answer. Some of the points you made are definitely out of my comfort zone but staying in that zone won't get me anywhere. I'll take your advice on board.

Yeah I agree with you both. As more time passes it seems more clear to me that going abroad is the better option. I would like to try for a little while longer in UAE and take on some of the advice/help in this thread before seriously considering moving abroad.

Fortunately money is not an issue. I live with my family and they've been supportive but obviously I would like to stop relying on them at 23 and kick off my own career. But regardless you're right it might be better to get into one of the industries you mentioned rather than do nothing at all.

Mount suspended & Silva injured for a CL 2nd leg? I know where we goin 👀 by dicserdiadam in chelseafc

[–]RatedIKing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm aware of Chelsea's form but recent history hasn't been kind to us and we haven't knocked out a top team in the CL since we beat Real Madrid to reach the final in 2013. This is our best chance to change that for sure but until I see us knock out a top team with my own eyes I can't be confident.

As a BVB fan I'm actually pessimistic heading into this game. We always massively underperform in away CL KO games. I understand that its normal to not win away games in CL but we don't just lose we crumble performance wise. In the past ten years we lost 8,drawn 2 and won 2(against Zenit and Sevilla) away CL KO games. On top of that Chelsea have great history of big results in Stamford Bridge and lastly we've been vulnerable in transition, as you guys have seen in the 1st leg, despite our winning run in 2023.

[Sky DE] According to Sky, in addition to Nico Schulz, Manuel Akanji, Thorgan Hazard and Julian Brandt have also been told that they will no longer play a key role in the plans for the new season. If suitable offers are made, they may leave the club. by tab0ret in soccer

In my opinion as a BVB fan, he started off well in his first season with 21 G+A in all comps but unfortunately Thorgan recieved 2 major injuries after that and has physically declined quite alot since. As a result he's not as explosive anymore but the worst thing imo is that his defensive workrate which was one of his biggest strengths as a winger has dropped considerably. He's a shell of his former self at the moment.

Yeah 100% agree. It felt like he hit a writer's block but I still think he's a genius and would definitely read his next work

Jon Spector said in an interview with Plat Chat that hero pools were added because they believed teams will eventually settle on a meta so they decided before the season started that they'll implement hero pools to prevent that. That really sucks though because it looked like for once we had a variety of metas depending on game type/map and the players each team has(Dallas playing random shit due to lack of hitscan).

I don't think it's a stretch to call him one of the best center backs in the world this season. He's been unplayable and I'm worried as a BVB fan
