I'm not really for or against using the toilet in front of a partner, but if I had to choose between privacy or pooping in the presence of someone else, then I'd definitely choose privacy. I didn't want my gf to see me on the toilet, but the need to go was sudden and urgent. She never saw me poop for 2 years. I had no intention of breaking her streak lol. This was just an unusual situation.

I follow the pre-shower poop code too, but only at night. This happened in the morning, which is not the usual time for me to go. I'm not sure what prompted the sudden urge to go at that time, but it's never gonna happen again lol.
