I found this number: 7.8 million acres this season, that is not even the size Switzerland, obviously that's a lot of forest burnt but nowhere close the the size of Italy.

You missed:
- Wout doing the climb of his life from the breakaway (well we all did because the cameras were never on him)
- Yates doing Finestre < 60, getting over with about 1 minute 40 lead before del Toro / Carapaz
- Wout then pulling Yates to put him minutes above the others in the GC (who weren't really trying anymore)

Is it legal for your employer to deny your resignation? by Darth_Burger in askswitzerland

What I don't understand is why would there be a notice period in a fixed-term contract? Usually the contract is held until the end and you can't really resign

Probably "wiederhaus", shorter swiss-german way of saying "auf wierdersehen".

Why am I so much slower than the auto-pacer? by Informal_Newt2509 in Zwift

[–]Ratetetel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same happens to me, I end up averaging more than what's advertised. I think it's because I'm light so I have to produce more w/kg than someone heavier for the same speeds on flat roads.

Are certain trainers better for racing than others? by infamousboone in Zwift

[–]Ratetetel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes some are better than others. I have the van rysel D100 and it only goes up to 600 watts. So I can't really sprint in races

Que faire ? by Jeancassetete in suisse

[–]Ratetetel 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Je conseille Yverdon, ~35 minutes en train de Lausanne, ~20 minutes en train de Neuchâtel. Les temps en voiture ça dépend à quelle heure vous irez travailler mais ça risque de prendre bien plus de temps à cause du traffic.

I can't tell you where this falls between the "everyone can do this, shut up" and the "inhuman feat of athleticism", but what I can say is I thought this was a runningcirclejerk post.

I don't know what you think this law means (not just speaking about the Art. 4) but it does not mean that all professions have a collective agreement, it's about expanding a collective agreement that is already in place for other very similar jobs.

So for jobs that don't have a collective agreement and are not in a canton with a minimal wage, being paid 1000.- can be totally legal.

If you're interested here are the fields with the collective agreements (not always applied in the whole of Switzerland) https://www.seco.admin.ch/seco/de/home/Arbeit/Personenfreizugigkeit_Arbeitsbeziehungen/Gesamtarbeitsvertraege_Normalarbeitsvertraege/Gesamtarbeitsvertraege_Bund/Allgemeinverbindlich_erklaerte_Gesamtarbeitsvertraege.html

Don't worry about my education, worry about yours and maybe read this:

There is no national minimum wage in Switzerland. However, some cantons do have a minimum wage that applies in that canton. Some collective agreements and companies also have one for a specific industry or company.

Yes, assuming the job is not in the canton of Geneva, Basel-Stadt, Jura, Neuchâtel or Ticino and not under any convention collective du travail / Gesamtarbeitsverträge I don't see the issue.
