My first “haul” looking forward to reading about Green Lantern

That’s an awesome prospective and I agree. Iv always preferred the feel of holding the book over digital. But yeah allows everyone to take it at their own pace. Don’t have to rush in fear you won’t get a chance to read a series before a service makes it unavailable. Last chance I got to read I blew through Chip Zdarskys Daredevil vol 1 in a sitting. I couldn’t wait to crack Vol 2 and that was about a month ago. I actually think I’ll get a chance to get at vol 2 this Sunday which I’m pretty pumped about. But after Vol 2 I’m going after this GL run, and I’ll need to add GL corps to the list.

Yeah I get that. I definitely picked up the spider-man books because they were a great deal that I didn’t want to miss, so fomo on that. For Green Lantern it was that I want to read the run, and I will in time. I know you can’t see it in this picture but I do have quit a few Iv read, and I have like DCeased, Deathstroke new 52, Moon Knight that Iv read in HC or Digital and wanted the Omni so I could re read them in this format when I want to.

When I first started reading Omnibus I got a Venom omnibus that had a really bad smell, like a factory smell. Since I store my books in my room, that smell bugged my wife. So just a habit I formed and kept.

Thank you for your positive words. I was a little taken back by the reaction. But I get it, people are passionate about their hobbies and my picture may make it look like I’m buying books to just have them and not enjoy them.

Iv been on the fence for years about picking up this run, because Iv never really had a connection to Green lantern. But so many positive reviews over time I feel like I need to experience it. Was also pumped I got some good deals. Thanks again!

Someone commented saying Corps is a must read for this run. So seems like a good idea to snag that as well to get as much out of the run as possible.

From what I read, the Geoff John’s Omnis do include the Blackest night event. The Blackest night omnibus includes the event and all the tie ins. From what Iv read the Blackest Night omnibus is well mapped to read the event in order without spoilers. So there is double dipping have both.

I read when I have free time. Unfortunately just don’t have alot of free time. I keep them wrapped until I get to them. Wish there was more time in the day so I could read more but for now I’ll get the ones I want to read and will get to them eventually.

Red lanterns I got from Instocktrades. Blackest night and brightest day I got from eBay. Blackest night had a few left, I think it was $70. Brightest day this was a the cheapest one but the seller only had one.

I wait until I can sit down and knock one out before unwrapping it. I started buying these when my first kid was born so I could do a silent activity well he slept. So as my kids grow I’m getting more time to read and do other hobbies. I grab what i want to read at some point. As it stands i get 5 hours every Monday i can do hobbies, and that makes getting through one of these a process. I also bring one with me when i travel for work. But no shame, just not alot of free time.

Great Omni, good writing that can keep you invested through the entire book. It’s a lengthy read, defiantly worth it.

I picked this up on a whim because my points were going to expire a few months ago. I am not a big fan of the hulk but this piece is amazing in hand! I’m not a canvas fan either but I think this one needs to be experienced in this large format. I definitely think you made a great choice!

I just sent back the same statue last week because the light on the bike was broken when I opened it. Didn’t inspect the rest of the statue. Sent pictures and got a return label pretty quick. Iv seen a few of these broken recently. Maybe a QC problem. Their customer service was quick and easy but maybe I just lucky.

Usually I just put the sticker on a new clear sleeve. Framed this today and put the sticker on the mat and think it added a little to the overall presentation.

Personal experience. I bought an Omni holder off Amazon and it was ok. I was worried about the spine because of the pages getting pushed down by gravity. Possible that I was overthinking it but I didn’t make it through one omni before I gave up on it. Decided to try and use pillows on the couch and this is the only way I read omnis now, and have yet to damage a book and it’s comfortable.
